About our client
Our client is a company based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, specialising in the manufacture of pharmaceutical packaging machinery. Together with this traditional company, we are looking for a Service Engineer for varied, interesting and challenging tasks with your own area of responsibility and action.
Field of activity
- Servicing and maintenance of machines at the customer's site
- Adaptation of existing systems with regard to upgrades and retrofits
- Independently carry out repairs and maintenance
- Preparing and performing equipment acceptance tests with the customer
- Support remote operations
- International travel of 20%, with the remainder being carried out directly at a fixed customer site in Puurs (between Brussels and Antwerpen)
Requirements profile
- Completed technical training as a mechatronics engineer, industrial mechanic, electronics engineer or comparable knowledge and skills
- Several years of experience as a service engineer on complex special machinery
- Excellent mechanical and electrical engineering skills
- Fluency in Flemish and English is required, German would be highly desirable
- Willingness to travel 20% with a high degree of flexibility, personal responsibility and ability to work under pressure
- After familiarisation in Baden-Württemberg, the service assignment can be started from home. The training period is approximately 3 – 6 months, depending on the level of experience.
